Lord Help Me To Hold Out!

Hello my blog family and friends. This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it! We will bless the Lord at all times and his praise shall continually be in our mouth, Amen! We have so much to be thankful for and we should always give God praise. In-spite of the situation or the circumstance, we should always remember whose in control. Always remember who we are striving to please. So while we are dealing with all that’s facing us on our jobs, in our homes, and in our families, we know help is on the way! Victory is on the way! A change is on the way! A breakthrough is on the way! So lets lift our hands and shout, Lord help me to hold out! Help me to hold out while I seek your face to see what you have in store for me.

Sometimes we are held at the place called there, right there where we are until we get what God has for us. Most of the time what he has for us is a lesson. Sometimes it’s because of disobedience and it can also be for a greater testimony. It can even be a test to see if you still trust and believe in him and will you move in his timing, no matter how hard the test may be. But, what ever the reason may be in this season, Lord help us to hold out, to hear and understand the voice of the Lord. The word of God says in Proverbs 3:6 “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”  Before we move in any direction in life, we need to acknowledge God first. Half of the problems some of us have faced is because we have done what we wanted to do, and didn’t think about including God until it blew up in our face. But if we come to God first, before we make a move, make any and all decisions, or sometimes before we open mouth, his word says in Psalms 32:8 ” I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” God himself will instruct us on where to go, when to go, what to say, and what not to say, and bless us in the end every time. That co-worker that’s trying to set a trap for you, don’t retaliate, sit back and watch the Lord fight your battle. The position you thought you should have had, don’t be bitter, God has something better for you. The person who betrayed you don’t harbor hate, God is showing you how not to be and teaching you how to love unconditionally.

The bible tells us in Galatians 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” So Hold on, God’s word is true. We shall reap the harvest. Just Hold out and hold on. God will not with hold anything from his children who seek him first, who are obedient, and follow the pathway of righteousness. I pray you have been encouraged to keep pressing forward and to believe that God will do just what he promised he would do.
