Why Me Lord, Why Me?

Hello my blog family and friends! For different reasons, at some point in our life, we all have asked this question. If not all of us, then most of us. Sometimes God answers, sometimes he doesn’t. Even when he doesn’t answer, that does not changes the fact that he is still God. He still sits on the throne. He is the oldest of the old, the wisest of the wise, and he sees all and knows all. He is and always will be the great I am! So…….why me lord, why me? Because of who you are, who you serve, and your more than able to handle it, with God’s grace and mercy.

The bible tells us we will at some point weep. Psalms 30:5 says weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Jesus told his disciples in John 15:20 If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you. We know we will have afflictions. The bible tells us in Psalms 34:19 many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord deliverers him out of them all. We will face hard times, trying times, but our Lord will be there to lead and guide us through what ever we are facing. Sometimes it feels like God himself has left the room, and your standing all alone. Things will happen as long as we are living and breathing. What we must do, is still trust and believe that God will deliver, God will provide, and we will have the victory. Keep doing what God has called you to do, knowing that you are not alone. The word tells us he will never leave us or forsake us. We have a comforter, counselor, helper, and intercessor. So always tell of his goodness. Tell of his goodness even in the bad times, even in the sad times. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Pray for the joy of the Lord.

So even during the why me Lord moments, count it all joy. Pray for those who wrong you. Pray for someone else’s happiness. Pray for someone else’s breakthrough. Pray for someone else’s child to be delivered and set free. Have a testimony after the why me trial is over. Trials come to make us strong, and to equipped us for who God has called us to be. Some times it’s a test to see if you will still stand on Gods word. If no matter the cost, you will still choose to believe that God is not a man that should lie. If he said it, will you stand on his word and believe it? Be blessed and claim your victory while going through your why me season.
