When I Think About…..

Hello my blog family and friends! What a blessing it is to be among the living! So many are dead and gone way before their time. But bless be to God, we’re still here. Knowing, if it had not been for God, where would we be? When I think about who I use to be, and who I am now, I can truly lift my hands and Thank God for changing me. These are not just words I’m typing, I know where I come from, I know the things I’ve done, I know the places I’ve been and had no business being there. I know it was God and God alone protecting me. Some of the decisions made by the old me, could have caused me to be dead or definitely in jail. Most of us if not all of us, escaped some things because we had parents or grandparents who knew the power of prayer. But now it’s your time. your Time to think about who God is.

There comes a time when you have to stand on your own two feet and trust God. You have to take him at his word. You have to believe that he will bring you out of what ever situation you may be facing. During difficult times in my life, that’s when I think about who I serve, who my Savior is, who my redeemer is, who my healer is, who my protector is, who is the Almighty one, who will never leave me nor forsake me, who is all powerful, who is all knowing, who is the Great I AM! Luke 18:27 says, “what’s impossible to man is possible with God.” There are no impossibility’s with God. We have no reason to fear when we are children of God. When we are putting God first, doing what he called us to do, being who he called us to be, we have no reason to fear. Isaiah 41:10 reads (Amplified version) “Do not fear [anything], for I am with you;Do not be afraid, for I am your God.I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you;I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].” This is the God we serve, this is who I think about when trouble is facing me. I remind myself, If God be for me who or what can be against me (Romans 8:31). I have learned to stand on Isaiah 54:17 (Amplified version) “No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord.” I pray this over my children and grandchildren daily. The scripture says I have the power because of my heritage, being a servant of God, that I can condemn every tongue that rises up against them. Every evil hateful word anyone plans to speak over them, I go ahead and condemn them first thing in the morning. Before the words can form in the persons mouth, I condemn them while I’m praying early in the morning. We as children of God, have the power and authority to speak it and it shall be performed.

This week, think about who you serve and how powerful he is. Remind yourself who you are. Speak the word over yourself, family, and friends. Be blessed and stay encouraged.
